Breakin' Down the Fantasy Week:

2 Games:
LA Lakers

3 Games:
Atlanta, Denver, Indiana, Miami, Milwaukee, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Orleans, New York, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Portland, San Antonio, Toronto Washington

4 Games:
Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, Golden State, Houston, LA Clippers, Memphis, Phoenix, Sacramento, Utah

Injuries:

*Who woulda thunk Vince Carter would be injured??? By looking at Vince's face, you'd think he got shot, but it was just a hand injury that was barely visible from the cameras or crowd. This guy is due to play half a season, I'd trade him next time his value rides a little high. If he misses any time, look for Keyon Dooling to get starter minutes and produce well.

*Baron Davis, fell real hard. He'll probably only miss one or two games, but for this week you migt want to start someone else.

*Luke Ridnour hasn't returned yet, and Ramon Sessions is finally playing like he did at the end of last season.

*Peja Stojakovic will be out for this coming week, and maybe more. If he's available, I'd pick up James Posey as his replacement immediately. He's got 10 3's in three games, 'nuff said.

*Greg Oden will be out for a while, 2-4 weeks. Joel Pryzbilla and Channing Frye will both get more time, but only Pryzbilla has value (blocks).

Position Battles:

*Everyone in New Jersey is sharing time, so Bobby Simmons and Yi both don't have enough value as we originally thought. Based on the outlook of this team, i don't know if that will ever change.

*Charlie V and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (when will this guy get a nick name?) have been sharing PT. Both are very inconsistent but it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Luc Richard is a Skiles favorite apparently, but Charlie V's talent can should be able to earn his minutes back.

*Quentin Richardson and Wilson Chandler are both playing a lot of minutes at the 3. For now, Q is still starting, but we wouldn't be surprised to see Wilson takes his spot. Because of D'Antoni's style of play, both put up good fantasy numbers when on, and very bad %'s when off.

*Earl Watson and Russell Westbrook are both sharing time at the point in OKC. They know what the got in Watson, and don't with Westbrook, so i suspect they'll wantt o see what he can do with Starters minutes at some point. For now, they're really just hurting each other's fantasy value.

*Andray Blatche disappeared from the rotation last night. I don't know if this is a ploy from Eddie Jordan to get him pumped up, or if this is permanent. He shouldn't be owned until he gets some more run.

*In Charlotte, DJ Augustine hasn't taking the PG spot yet, but Raymond Felton hasn't been playing well at all, and I expect them to make the switch eventually. With 4 games this week, Felton is a decent play, but I'd consider dropping him for another Waiver or Free Agent that has higher upside.

*Ty Thomas won the PF spot in Chicago, and Joakim Noah has won the backup C position, leaving Aaron Gray out. Derrick Rose is already a serious NBA player, and that means very little time at the 1 for Kirk Hinrich. With Kirk and Ben Gordon splitting minutes at the 2, both aren't putting up consistent numbers.

Don't hate on Vinsanity.

Dude came back and played after x-rays were negative ,not even supposed to miss playing time.

Well then, that was attempt #1 for Vince to pretend he's way more hurt than he really is. I expect a few more of those until a major "injury" occurs.
