Monday Breakdown

Okay, okay, okay...let's break it down...

*The 2009 Hall of Famers were announced, and somehow Michael Jordan squeezed into the pack. He's joined by Jerry Sloan, David Robinson and C. Vivian Stringer. Scoop Jackson makes the case that Jordan should have his own induction; it's only fair.

(Forgot John Stockton, thanks Bert).

*News just in, Manu Ginobili is done for the year, playoffs included. Ken Berger says you can stick a fork in the spurs.

*Another argument that defense wins championships. Basketball-Reference breaks down "Go To" guys and their effect on championship success. Interesting stuff.

*From Truehoop; Seven reasons to fear the Orlando Magic, and a look at who the hall of famers of today resemble most in today's NBA. After the whoopin the Magic put on the Cavs a few days ago, I think that's enough to worry about them come playoff time.

Def agree that Jordan should have went in alone, and the Nuggets will be a very dangerous team in the playoffs. Stop the Wiz hate baby, its bad for your health. Thanks also for updating once every 3 weeks!

Sorry man...work before play. You know how it is...

The inductions haven't happened yet. So still a chance Jordan gets inducted solo. I think they should roast him! How great would that be....?

You left out Stockton, but i know the committee. As dirty a player as he was he got it done, well almost. Must have been Tough playing in the jordan era. If they roasted Jordan they would basically say stop gambling so much. They are going to have to come with a different term for him other than hall of famer. Fame of Baller?

Probably the most anti climatic hall of fame voting in history in any sport. I assure you he will have his own wing at the hall.

Welcome back DMiz

Who is ur sleeper for the playoffs?

Did u watch Cavs game halftime show where Lebron said which athletes he most admired growing up

Jordan--duhhh
Emmitt Smith--Surprising bc Lebron was WR in high school
Deion Sanders--One of world's most annoying/show off athletes, an image Lebron doesnt want.
Penny Hardaway--I think hearing this probably was the happiest moment of Penny's last 10 years.
